Knowledge
Is it fair to say knowledge is power? RRT believes that insight and awareness benefit our ability to make the changes we want to see happen in our lives. Since you know who, where, and what you desire to become, it's just as valuable to start noticing clues that let you know the kind of difference you desire is present.

Mental Health + Crisis Resources
Resiliency is about turning our pain into purpose. Sometimes our minds are like internet browsers; you have 19 tabs open, 3 of them are frozen, and you don't know where the music is coming from. You feel overwhelmed and the trusty "CTRL-ALT-DLT" isn't working.

You are not alone in this. Take care of your psychological immune system. If you're in a crisis, or someone you know is in a crisis; there are resources available. Below are a few for you to being with.

Distress Centres (DC’s) across Ontario offer support and a variety of services to their communities. At a DC you can find a listening ear for lonely, depressed, and/or suicidal people, usually 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The website also offers a chat function.

People across the country can receive support via phone or text 24 hours a day. Callers will receive bilingual, trauma-informed culturally appropriate support from trained.

The MHFA Canada program aims to improve mental health literacy, and provide the skills and knowledge to help people better manage potential or developing mental health problems in themselves, a family member, a friend or a colleague.

This is a resource including local mental health and wellness resources across Ontario. Depending on the area you live, you may be able to find a program or service you've never heard of.
